Exogyra Costata from the Late Cretaceous Period, 66 million to 100 years ago. Collected from the North Sulphur River in N.E. Texas. Weight 1.75 lbs., 5"L x 4-1/4"W x 2-1/2"H Cleaned and coated with glossy floor polish. This piece has exceptional striations from the 'beak' stretching back, hence the honeycomb name.
